Research interests

Marleen Jansen PhD holds a postdoctoral research position at the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment and Amsterdam Public Health research institute at Amsterdam University Medical Centres. Her main goal in research is trying to study and consult in what way we can translate genetic information in a responsible way to maximize our gain in health. For her current postdocteral research this translates into two research areas: implementation of farmacogenomics, and evidence-based policy making. Within the latter Marleen focusses on newborn screening by studying international perspectives on newborn screening policy and implementation, and involvement in the expansion of the national screening program in the Netherlands.
