In this research we will investigate the problem statement below, and apply our findings to create a decision support tool for individualized treatment programs in practice: How do forensic treatments affect neurobiological development of antisocial youth and how are neurobiological changes related to treatment outcome in terms of mental health, self-sufficiency and recidivism?
Biological measures consist of the neurophysiology of the autonomic nervous system (baseline and responsiveness to stressful/emotional situations), endocrinology (cortisol and testosterone levels) and neurocognitive functioning (executive functioning and emotion-regulation)
