Abstract
We present three children with fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS) in one family. The most important features of FAS are growth retardation, psychomotory retardation and facial abnormalities, especially short palpebral fissures, a smooth philtrum and a thin upper lip. In The Netherlands FAS is probably often not recognized.
