N2 - The use of high flow oxygen therapy (Optiflow®) is increasing, but clear indications are lacking. This pragmatic review describes the current evidence for the use of high flow oxygen therapy in the intensive care unit in three different patient populations: Acute hypoxaemic respiratory failure, (prevention of) post-extubation failure and during interventions.
